The human side

Moving countries is more than paperwork.

A new country changes everything at once: language, routines, friendships, even how you do the weekly shop. Feeling unsettled is normal, and it rarely shows up in a checklist.

I am not a therapist or a counsellor. What I can offer is a calm conversation with someone who has been through it, and practical ways to make the first months feel less like a series of obstacles.

  • Settling in when the novelty wears off and the admin piles up.
  • Helping children adjust to a new school and a new language.
  • Keeping a routine when your support network is in another time zone.
  • Knowing which small frustrations are normal and which are worth fixing.

Questions people ask

Are you a lawyer or immigration adviser?

No. I provide practical guidance and administrative support based on my own experience of settling in Spain and on official sources. When you need legal advice, representation or an appeal, I refer you to qualified professionals.

Can you guarantee my visa, NIE appointment or bank account?

No one can honestly guarantee those outcomes. Decisions belong to the authorities, banks, landlords and schools. I help you prepare well so you avoid the common, avoidable delays.

Are government fees included in your prices?

No. Government fees (tasas), visa fees, translations, apostilles, notary and lawyer fees, agency fees, deposits and school fees are separate unless a package explicitly says otherwise.

Can we start before I arrive in Spain?

Yes. Sessions are by video call, so most of the planning can happen while you are still at home.

Which languages do you work in?

In Bangla, my mother tongue, and in English and Spanish.

Does it matter where in Spain I am moving to?

Many procedures are national, but appointments, documents and timelines vary by province and town hall. I point out the local differences and how to check them. I live in the Valencian Community and know it best.

What happens after I book?

You get a booking reference and a confirmation email straight away. I then confirm the exact time and send you a video-call link.

Need a visa or work permit?

Visit Migrate-EU, my separate immigration project focused on work permits, student visas and other immigration-related services.
